New updates are at Girls Gone Crafty Blog. Wow, ladies can I just say we have gotten an overwhelming response for this, so don't wait too long on purchasing tickets, we have limited space this year and I don't won't you to miss it.

Just getting back from Scrapfest in Mandeville and I can't believe I didn't even take pictures. That's how busy we were. But if you look at Vera's Blog you'll see some of the fun.

Be on the lookout for deets on National Scrapbook Day, May 2nd @ Scrapalicious!

Hubby and I had a date awhile back, so I'm really late with this picture.

I love having nights with him. He is so much fun and we can really cut loose together. I have to say I'm very blessed to have him in my life even if he doesn't know how to put his dirty clothes in the hamper.

We have some updates at our event blog be sure to check them out.

Here are some layouts that I made recently using stuff from Scrapalicious:

So, life has been quite different for me. My pride took quite a punch with being sick with pneumonia so I'm really learning that being independent is not completely neccessary. We all need family & friends and if they are true they'll pitch in even when you don't call. Usually it takes me to get hit by a mack truck (LOL) to realize I need help or assistance, but this time all it took was getting sick. I guess God feels the need to remind me of that every few years. I'm just very lucky to be surrounded by the supportive family & friends I do have. Very blessed. I'm looking at the world in another light yet again. The world is definitely worth taking a second glance at once in awhile.

Many have asked what the cost of the kits are offered at Scrapalicious. Well, they are only $29.99, but if you sign up for 3 months then they are only $26.99. I know what a good deal, huh?

So, we've decided that Girls Gone Crafty will be held in July. We will post all our little secrets soon, but I can tell you that it will be bigger and better than last year. We will have more vendors, more goodies, more prizes, and more fun. We will also be added some special guests from the upcoming Scrapalicious Design Team and as well as some designers from some well known scrapbook manufacturers. Each of these will be teaching workshops throughout the two day event as well as our "famous" scrapbooker who will teach all of you during the crop. We will also add a buffet style meal each day to the cost of the event. As it looks now we will only be able to seat 200 and it will probably be held in Houma. I really think seats will go quickly, so don't hesitate to buy. We also listened to a lot of suggestions from last year and made plenty of improvements, which means I won't be rapping for ya'll. LOL I'll post more later along with a video.

All I can say is I'm super excited, like pee in my pants excited about this year, b/c I have a lot of women who are helping me craft this sucker up and you are going to love it.

Just Keep Creating! Creating! Creating!

What a week! Whew, my pneumonia really kicked my butt!! I had to let go a lot of pride and get help from others, so I guess that was God's way of telling me I needed to take a step back and really take a look at what I was doing in my life. So, in this self-discovery week of course I scrapbooked here and there, hope you enjoy.

My first layout here is a Halloween one that I actually inked the edges of the pictures and then added a touch of clear crackle.

Scrapalicious is now offering monthly kits and here is what the luscious kit looks like and this is what I did with it as a project. I'll be posting more pics and a video of more ideas for the kit soon.

I also played around with some new product from Scrapalicious (Prima, Pink Paislee, Cosmo Cricket, Tim Holtz, & Hambly).

This is a couple of projects I've worked on this year for my home one is a canvas and the other is an old window frame.

New Day

Sunday, March 1, 2009

So, I'm finally settling in here at this blog and hopefully I can keep up and maybe we can have a little fun here as well. So, first I want to mention that you will see many changes here, as always. Does that surprise any of you? Nah, didn't think so. I will soon be posting a lot of upcoming kits you can purchase and some really fun videos, pictures, and ideas. This blog just seemed logical due to cost of the upkeep of the other website. One feature might I add that you will enjoy here is the forum in the comments section. It works just like a regular forum except under each post. This way we can still chat. Also, you'll notice to the right is my playlist player, that so many people had enjoyed. But instead of actually setting it to play when you open the blog, you have to press play to enjoy. No more getting caught peeking at work. BTW, I take requests. LOL

I'll also soon have an update on Girls Gone Crafty and the kits within the week, so keep checking back. I'm working really hard on projects, websites, & kits and teaching middle school on the side. Whew! Just writing all that makes my head spin.

I leave you with this:
