Well thankfully the hurricane did not come our way, but I prayed for the ones that did get it. I was able to go to CKU after a very traumatic week for our community and Lord knows I needed it. So, I just got back from CKU and my head is filled with too many thoughts, so as soon as I can get home and gather them I'll post more and also include some pictures.

Freaking OUT!!!!!

Okay, isn't it bad enough that I'm already freaking out about flying, leaving my children, and leaving my husband - that now a damn Hurricane has to start heading this way. Yeah, it's just my luck! I'm supposed to be leaving for CKU, but instead I might be evacuating - well I guess that's better than the engine falling off the plane. So, what will I be doing tommorow night to get my mind off of it - you guessed it Scrappin'. How else am I supposed to get through my meltdown.

S-C-H-O-O-L What does that spell? Routine!!!!

Hey, I like when school is in. Don't get me wrong I love the summer vacation and trips, but after awhile the laid back lifestyle leads me to laziness. So off to school my boys go, off to the sitter for my girl and off to work for me. "Hunter Bunter" is ready to begin Pre-K and is really pumped up, "Sethocrates" could care less, and "Claire Bear" is just devasted. I want to jump up and down and say a cheer in the morning and all they want to do is beg and annoy me to sleep just 5 more minutes. How could they not love school? I've always loved school, couldn't wait to start, guess that gene skipped my oldest.

As for the store, we are doing great! We are getting new things in everyday and it's every scrapper's dream. We are in the midst of planning some conventions and weekend retreats, but for now Crop Nights & Crop-a-ritas til 4AM (yeah, I know - We party like some Scrapstars) will have to do.

Getting prepared for CKU-Nashville has been rough. I'm heading out on my first flight ever on the 23rd and I'm pretty sure I'll have to have a few pina coladas before boarding. I always said I would never fly, so CKU must be pretty special (HEHE). The Countdown has begun!

In the Beginning

I know you are thinking what is her daughter doing at the top of the page shouldn't it be a picture of herself being a drama mama. After all it is her confessions. Well, I thought I'd spare everyone from seeing such a horrible sight. Me pitching a fit is not meant to be publically displayed, we would have to have ratings on this site for that to happen. Just ask my husband to attest to that. So, basically to control my dramatic tendencies I try to scrapbook (my absolute favorite hobby) It's also a lot cheaper than the medication & therapist I truly need. So bare with me as I get through this blog world yet again! Hopefully I don't lose it (I mean the blog people!)
