What the world needs now

We are responsible for our own actions no matter race, gender or cultural background. There should be no finger pointing when it comes to our own actions, we should be held accountable for our actions. We all want to believe that our people are good, that the people we might have grown up with could not be capable of wrong doings. Yet, we forget we are of flesh and bone and we are led to live our lives in free will despite the law of the land. We make choices some good, some bad. We should be held accountable for those choices. We all make hasty decisions, some good, some bad. Stop thinking that you could have done better than them and just strive to be better. Be a better person, don't compare yourself to others and say you could have done a better job as an officer, a parent or a person - you are not them. God is so powerful and generous that he made each of us different with our own special gifts. But one thing is the same, we are all capable. Capable of living our lives in peace, capable of loving each other despite wrong doings and capable of praying for one another. If our lives are filled with hate we will breed hate. If our lives are filled with violence we will breed violence. So put down your pitchforks, listen to your heart, deep down under all the hatred you might have that has surrounded your heart. Now break through that and pray for one another. Love one another. Jesus walked the earth in love despite the hatred he received, be more like Him. To him all lives were important! To him all sins were forgiven. That might be hard to fathom because in our minds we believe one sin is bigger than another - to Him it is not, so for us it shouldn't be either. The media is going to corrupt your mind if you let it. It will have you to believe that we are living in a nation that is falling apart. I don't believe that. I believe something big is going to happen soon and the devil knows it. He knows that if he continues to plant his seeds of hatred we will miss what God has in store. And I know it is difficult to do because even I sit and scan through all forms of media and it has angered me, disappointed me and saddened me that even some of my friends here have allowed themselves to become divided from a nation that was built on the love of Jesus. I beg and implore you though to turn off your tv's, put down your phones, put away your laptops and tablets, heck don't even listen to the radio. Instead open up a conversation with your children, your spouse, your neighbors and your friends in person. Don't allow this hatred to spread any further. There is no one on this earth more powerful than our mighty God so I am not convinced that his war is over and He has given up on us. #wakeupamerica
